Entry into Australia

The flight training phases of our ab-initio courses are conducted at our training bases located in Australia.

The duration for the flight training phase of the CPL programmes will be approximately about 12 months at the Australia campus.

Before cadets depart for their respective overseas training location, STAA will provide them with the necessary assistance to guide them on their student visa application.

Student Visa Application

Guidelines on student visa application will be provided to the cadets at a later stage in order to help them with the respective countries' visa application. Cadets will be advised to apply for their visa at least 4 weeks in advance as some applications may take a longer time to get approvals.

Please note that the cost for the student visa application will be borne by the cadet.
The cadet will need to ensure all procedures are completed before leaving the country for their flight training.

Living Cost

Dormitory housing will be provided for cadets during their flight training period in Australia.
The cost for accommodation has already been accounted for within the course fees payable.

There will be shuttle services available for the cadets to transport them to and fro from their houses to the flight academy. Additionally, transportation will also be provided to the Supermarkets for cadets to get their daily necessities and groceries.

Personal Expenses

Cadets are advised to have sufficient funding to support themselves during the course of training at the overseas flight academy. The personal expenses will include meals, entertainment and any other leisure activities which are not included within the course fees.
